Breakfast / Lunch on a whole other level.
We have been using Prime for a few months now for our lunch time selections and the whole office is loving them.
I had seen them for some time but they are a tad far from the office so I never gave them a second thought until I learned a few months ago that they delivered. We checked and they were willing to deliver to our office.
After trying them the first time we were hooked. They will fax you a daily menu of specials and such and we have never had a bad anything from there - ever.
They have a chicken burger that is killer- but as I just stated, everything we have gotten so far is just top notch.
At this point, I have coworkers who are ordering dinner to be delivered with their lunch so that they don't have to cook when they get home!
I've never set foot in the place but I've seen their website and it looks nice- someone else can review the actual brick and mortar location.
Parking is on the street where they are located.
I used Prime for catering a few times for offices in the area. Their food is actually quite delicious, really. It's healthy. However, they are overpriced, and for the money paid on catering orders, you would think they'd at least give free paper plates and utensils, right?
I find it ridiculous that they charge a few dollars extra per person for paper plates and utensils. Even beat down pizzerias give free plates with delivery orders. They don't sell liters of anything to drink so that's an extra couple dollars they sneak in per person for individual drinks. At the end of the catering order, I realize I can get double the food with free utensils and plates for the price of what prime charges, elsewhere.
It's tasteless of them to lack courtesy for customers who would use them more for catering deliveries if they managed their customer relations a little better. It's really unfortunate because I, along with others I know in my field, would use Prime for orders if they were more reasonable.
OMG! Where do I begin with Prime Fine Catering? First off.....it is one of the best off site caterers I have EVER had the pleasure of dealing with. I was referred to this place by one of my neighbors in the Hamptons. I was planning a welcome home/psuedo wedding party for my brother and his family. I met with Henry and he became my event planner. From tent, to tables, to chairs, to flatware, to china, to glasses, to servers, to cooks, to bartenders, and THE FOOD. The event went off without a hitch. The servers were good looking, personable and helpful. The cook was unreal. They just used my kitchen to make the spectacular feast! They set up all the tables, arranged the place settings, passed the hor d'overes (sp?), cooked the food, grilled the food, set the food out, made the drinks (I supplied the alcohol). When the party was through they wrapped all the left overs up, put everything away, prepared all the rentals to be picked up by the rental company. They left my house cleaner than when they arrived.Everyone raved about the food and to this day (the event was during the late summer of 2010) when I mention Prime Caterers, everyone just says oooohhhhh.
What You Should Know About Off Premises Catering
When you are planning your next big special event, one of the big decisions you have to make is what to do about the event catering. Your celebration could be spectacular if you choose your Long Island catering company wisely. Unfortunately, the other side of that coin is that you could plan poorly and have a special occasion turn sour. Choosing the right catering company could make or break your big party. In your event catering planning, there are many factors to consider. One of the most important things to think about is whether your catering is going to be done on premises or off premises. Do you know the difference? In the article below, we will let you in on some of the things you should know if you decide to get your special event catered off premises.
What is Considered Off Premises Catering?
Simply, off premises catering means that the catering companies you work with will prepare the food they serve away from their regularly used facility. This is a pretty convenient option for the consumer, however not every corporate catering company can provide the same level of service when it comes to off premises catering. There are some pretty distinguishing characteristics for off premises caterers. They are classified into three separate groups:
Advantages of Off Premises Catering
Having your catering done off premises can provide some key benefits to your event. Off premises catering can be an attractive alternative to more common event scenarios like banquet halls or country clubs, or standard wedding catering fare. Off premises catering also allows the client to make his or her event a more customized and specific event than that of inside catering companies.
One of the biggest advantages of going the off premises catering route is the variety in the menu. Off premises caterers tend to be more experiences in creating custom menus with specific food tastes in mind. If you hire an off premises catering company, chances are you are opening the doors to some very creative and unique food choices.
Passionate Work Ethic
Not to say anything negative about in house caterers, but there comes a certain sense of urgency with an off premises catering team. They are used to creating a custom experience for their clientele. They also have the intensity of meeting deadlines at various locations, so their passion for their work is quite apparent. There is a strong sense of work ethic with off premises caterers that is rarely seen in the world of on premises catering.
Whichever route of catering company you choose to go, rest assured that your event will be dealt with professionalism and priority. This is especially true for Prime Catering! We have been a top Long Island catering company for years, and we look forward to serving you up some delicious food for your next special event.
